A delightful atmosphere, not unlike the cafes in Vienna, drinks are served in lovely china and its both cozy and well appointed.

Very lovely cafe for breakfast. Staff very welcoming and the place busy with Italians having coffee on the way to work. Great attention to detail in making coffee and not too pricey if you stand at the counter local style. We paid just over 5 euros for croissants and coffee for 2.

From the time you enter the shop, you get greeted and feel very welcome. I noticed that many of the customers were greeted by name, so it must be popular with locals. An espresso and a croissant with ricotta - simply divine- only EUR 2:20.

I was directed here by a local. It serves, as she said, the best coffee in Bologna. The interior is tiny but very classy and beautiful. The staff are exquisitely dressed and well-mannered and are true experts. The coffee is on a different level to any other espresso I had in the city. It is not fussy, over-priced or gimmicky.... Only a very small coffee shop, but well worth finding. The locals were all drinking their espressos Italian style, standing at the counter, but as there were four of us we decided to go through the the back room where there were a few small table. The coffee menu was presented - with more choices of coffee than I had... More

Was in Bologna recently for Cersaie, I miss my double espresso macchiato, and brioche with ricotta filling, best brioche ever! Espresso was great as is usually the case in Italy!! Staff was amazing, the lady with short hair was always polite, always smiling, I never had to tell her my order after the first day. mille grazie sei stato perfetta

You drink the espresso at the bar - 8+ types to choose from. Very authentic Italian place - DO NOT order some stupid Starbucks style coffee...just order an espresso or cappuccino - there is also a huge range of tea to choose from here.

Love this place : absolutely superb coffee, courteously served in tradition pristine surroundings. Best in Bologna, and runs a very close second to my favourite coffee shop (Tazza D'Oro in Rome).
