The owner greeted us kindly and explained all the specials. He brought a variety of wines to the table to help us choose the best accompaniment to our meal. We followed his recommendations. Everything was prepared exquisitely. We had a pumpkin soufflé with Parmesan with an eggplant and peppers as antipasti, followed by tortellli of three types (herbs, shaved truffles,... More

We chose what the waiter recommended -- and we recommend, you do the same! It was just delicious! The local wine was quite expensive but really worth the price. The questions asked by Tripadvisor are more than strange! It's a very good Italian restaurant -- I have no idea whether they serve Gluten-Free or Vegan!!!

One of the best in a city where the food is the best in the whole of Italy (and hence the world). The pastas are made in the restaurant and the boiled meet dish is unique. The tortellini in Brodo is among the best I've ever had. We have been stoping here for years whenever we are in Milano -... More

This restaurant is just out of the way enough that you have to make a point of getting there. It is in a hotel (Daniel) where I have never stayed, but I do try to get here to eat on every visit to Parma. The prosciutto and parmigiano-reggiano are first-rate and the traditional Parma tortelli di erbette may be bathed... More

This is an exceptionally cosy, top level restaurant. The food is perfect the way it is. If you want to try real Parma food, eat here. If you want to stuff yourself with amazingly tasty food, eat here. I recommend torta fritta (the best in Parma in my opinion) and cured meats, seasonal starter, tris tortelli as primo, and the... My mother and I had dinner here on the recommendation of an Italian friend. I believe we were the only non-Italians in the restaurant that night, which promised to be a good sign. The food was excellent. The three ravioli, one with pumpkin purée, was amazing as was the roasted veal with polenta. A very good value for the money.

While still in U.S., had to change our reservations a few times, with only pleasant responses. We were welcomed with enthusiasm and pleasantness. Our choices of chard, pumpkin & black truffle ravioli tastings, and roast vitello with porcini mushrooms were delicious and enhanced by an agreeable staff. Our only regret was that we didn't learn until the end of the... More

Our expectations were extremely high for this restaurant as most of the reviews were good. So you can imagine our disappointment when the first dish came - dumplings in a broth- it tasted dull and bland. We were stunned! We ordered many dishes as we wanted to enjoy a good meal. The crispy duck was extremely tough and gamey, with... More

I have a rule from now on. If I'm within the continent of Europe, I'm going to Cocchi The food is beyond outstanding You must order an aperitif with the freshly carved Parmigiana cheese The gnocchi fritti are light, not greasy at all and to die for. Pairs beautifully with the Prosciutto di Parma Every pasta we had was sensational...from... More
