I stopped here for the muscoli ripieni -- stuffed mussels -- and was not disappointed. The food here is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the prices are affordable. This place has a lot of character.

Nice restaurant on the main Street. Food in general on the more refined side. The baked sea bass with smoked cheese was very good and the panzoni with Walnut sauce was quite a revelation for a non vegetarian. Pasta is freshly homemade and therefore not the same available everyday.

It is just the worst restaurant we went in Italy. All the staff was rude and the food was too expensive for what they sell. The waiter - who said was the owner - was extremely mannerless and impolite with us. First, we were very badly welcomed into the restaurant, second, the waiter refused to give us olive oil to... We were (un-)welcome by the rudest waiter ever... after we explained to them that we have food restrictions (gluten free) and that we could only order side dishes, we were told that they would not serve us unless we ordered lots of food. I have rarely been received so badly in a place (normally , when I explain or ask... More

My wife and I visited for dinner. We were not greeted warmly upon arrival. My wife had the Sandros swordfish. It was very fishy and poor quality. Could not eat it. I had the trofie pasta which was decent. Wine was good. Service was mediocre. Would not go back here or recommend.

We've been in Vernazza in august 2016. We loved Vernazza. It is a beautiful place, but sadly this restaurant opaque our really pleasant experience in Vernazza. It is the worst experience i had ever have in a restaurant. The food is not good, and the customer service was very horrible and extremely rude. Really don't go to this place. The... More

Food was overall delicious. We tried the Spaghetti Frutti de Mare, pasta was perfectly cooked, seafood fresh, very flavorful. Tried three of their homemade desserts, all were excellent. Great value too.

We were not greeted very warmly at this restaurant, but we were rewarded by a great meal. We ordered grilled swordfish and a pasta dish with pesto. Both were beautifully prepared and delicious. The restaurant was charming inside and every table filled with animated diners.

Trattoria da Sandro was recommended by Annamaria at Fontana Vecchia. Reservations were needed so we made them with a pleasant young waiter in the afternoon. We returned at 7pm and were seated promptly. Our waiter (Alessandro?) was very friendly and helpful. My wife had the Ligurian anchovy and potato Tegame alla Vernazzana which was OK but not special. I had... More

We sat at our table for at least 10 minutes without an acknowledgement, welcome nor menu, even though we know the staff saw us being seated at the table. Finally, after getting the attention of the staff, did we start receiving service. In a very small town that is dependent mainly on a tourism economy, one would expect much better... More
