Lovely pizza! Ordered a pizza with pepper salami, my boyfriend had a carpaccio pizza and our friend ordered an focaccia. Big pizza's, not too salty, fresh ingredients. 1 ltr red wine, coffee and limoncello, all together for 20 per person. Situated in a small alley in the historic centre

Cheap eats and great pizza. Two of us with a bottle of wine is under 50 euro. Lots of choices, pasta and farinata as well. Busy on weekends!

By far, the best pizza I have had in Italy. Fresh, light and delicious. Reasonable prices and good selection of wine and beer. Will absolutely come back when I visit again.

I live in Genova for about 6 years now and I keep coming back to this place every now and then. It is not a restaurant, as many users confused it with one. It's a place that's called a "trattoria" in Italy - a place with decent meals and wines for a fair price. "Ristorante" is a high standard-establishment in... More

You can't go wrong with the name 'La Mama', now can you?! Excellent pizza - and off the beaten path. Great service, and warm/inviting towards children. You will high five yourself for actually finding it amongst Genoa's labyrinth of streets ... don't use Google maps (it is at the San Donato end of Via San Bernardo).

Having visited Genoa for only a short while we were keen to avoid chain restaurants and visited this authentic pizzeria. We were not let down! Good food and great service

Into the restaurant with high expectations because of the signs at the entrance and the waiter's recommendation. The place needs a facelift and looks like a restaurant in the seventies with plastic plants and Slohnot Formica. The food was reasonable, especially pizza.

La Mama provides excellent pizze at a very reasonable price. Easy to find and friendly staff make for a good experience and the slightly sparkling house white wine is very good value. Although we were there on a Tuesday night, which was very quiet and lacking in atmosphere, it is obviously a very busy and thriving place. Worth a visit.... More

Little and cute place with friendly stuff. We ordered two pizzas "Rustica" and "La Mama". Both were really tasty :)

Great food and very friendly staff. We had pasta with walnut sauce as an appetizer and two pizzas: "la mama" with parmesan cheese, fresh tomatos, arugula and parma ham & "portofino" with stracchino cheese and pesto. It was the best pizza I ever ate! Really recommend this place, will come back here again!
