One of my favourite places when I travel to Genoa. Not very extense menu, but creative food with high quality and good service. Very advisable place.

The restaurant appears in the prestigious Italian guide 'Osterie d'Italia'. It is perfectly located in the city center. The dishes are an imaginative variation of the local cuisine. The ambiance is good. However, the staff is very young. I think that a restaurant of this level can afford to employ more experience waiters and waitresses. The service should be improved.

We recently spent a week in Genoa dining out each evening at a number of good Genoese restaurants and this one was our favourite. We went on a Tuesday night and fortunately we had booked as within thirty minutes of our arrival the place was packed - looks like booking is compulsory. The food was very interesting and different to... More

The staff is very friendly and efficient. The menu is written on blackboards. The food is presented creatively. And it always tastes wonderful. They also have excellent wines that are very reasonable. You can usually walk in and get a table for lunch but for dinner you will need a reservation. The photo is of Garagnelli con asparaghi e acciughe... More

Located on a side street, this small dining restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, good decorations and the food is served with small portions but made with quality ingredients a good presentation. You will need reservations. I will go back.

This restaurant is good and you have to book. Service a bit haphazard. Food quality debatable in places, hence the 3 rather than a 4. Can see why it is popular and prices are very fair overall.

This small restaurant is located on a side street. It is a unpretentious. It features regional dishes served with great love. The service is attentive and the prices are reasonable. The wine is reasonable and the wine list is local. The anchovy pasta is to die for. The featured lasagna is wonderful. The desserts are great. A great place for... More

We enjoyed our meal so much we booked to come back a few days later. When we arrived we were greeted with "welcome back" and certainly made to feel very welcome despite speaking no Italian. Everything we ate was delicious, but the tuna three ways stood out. It is easy to find in an alley by the Palazzo Ducale off... More

We had lunch on our way from Levanto to Malpensa airport as the trattoria was recommended to us by the a local. The lunch menu was good, reasonably priced as well. The dishes, we took pasta, were nice. Fish carbonara was my favourite. Gets busy quite quickly after opening at 12:30.

\This restaurant is tucked on a steep side street so you might miss it but make a reservation as the place is filled to capacity with happy diners, enjoying classic Genovese dishes prepared with a touch of contemporary imagination. I ordered the tuna appetizer that was served in the most delicate virgin olive oil in a mason jar with toast... More
