I was recommended to go here by one of the local tourist information points, but I seemed to be the only tourist there. Fresh seafood, very friendly staff, great location near the marina. It is definitely a "no frills" restaurant, but this is what I loved about it. Drinking wine out of a small, plastic cup is nothing that bothers... More

This is a very popular place for tourists looking to have some fish with a reasonable expense. Naturally you get what you pay for.

I actually like the theme of this restaurant. You point to an already prepared batch of food. They give you a portion and you pay for it simple as that. You absolutely can't buy a cheaper seafood meal than this and fresh off the boat also! I had the polipo (octopus) and potatoes which came with in a red sauce.... More

We were recommended this place by the hotel owner where we stayed overnight. We went early as we were warned that we would have to stay in the queue. When we arrived at about 19.00 the queue was indeed there and long… Locals apparently like this place and queue before they even open. As it is a self-service place we... More

We went there twice, very good food, cheap wine! They told us they fish everyday. Food was fresh and nice.

We got there before the huge queues and picked a mixed fried calamari and squid dish with some lemon which was absolutely delicious. We then got the mussels for 5€. The food was fresh and cooked simply and deliciously. I can see why people flock there as cheap fresh sea food is not easy to find. Don't expect fancy wait... More

If you like fish & seafood, this is the place. Don't expect anything fancy. Here you get the bare necessities on plastic plates in a DIY mode. But I don't care about china, crockery or proper wine glasses, when the food is genuine and fresh. And that is what you get here, for a modest price. If you want a... More

my family and I chanced upon this restaurant on our recent trip to the area. Its a self-service almost fast-food Restaurant by the harbour in La Spezia. The different dishes were already prepared and you just have to point out which ones you like and how many servings. though they were already cooked, i saw that they replenished the dishes... More

We went there expecting a fresh fish restaurant but it was a self-service place. The food was already prepared and re-heated! We had the parmiggiana with sardines in it, an unusual combination but unfortunately every mouthful was full of bones! Maybe we just made the wrong choice. Not sure I will go back!

We saw the line-up outside waiting for this place to open at midday - so we joined the queue and weren't disappointed. Self-service style with plenty of variety and fresh produce. We bought a bottle of wine to go with it and enjoyed a relaxing lunch on the harbourside.
