Good selection of tapas and affordable price for drinks. Venue is warmly decorated with a left lining undertone

We had a very good meal with tempura (fried vegetables) and for main course nice pasta. The cocktails are also very good and cheaper than the wine. The waiters didn t speak english but the boss was so no problem at all. We recommend this nice and local little restaurant!

Good food, with ethnic (african) touches, a bit spicy and different from standard happy hours. Very nice staff, we were with two toddlers, they had a lot of patience! Last but not least, there are not so many places in Milano in which hoegarden beer is served...

All other guests were Italians, which was a good sign for us. The waiters didnt speak any english and the menu was in Italian, so the boss got the cook from the kitchen to translate for us (because he was the only one to speak any English). Great service! And the food tasted really good as well :-)

Not many beers on tap, but I liked what they had (Hoegaarden, Leffe Red, and something lighter). More than 20 aperitivo platters--- a bit of a middle eastern flair. The offerings may rotate, but this one was vegetable-heavy, both fresh and braised, complimented by some fish and a couple kinds of cured meat. No pasta filler, if you avoid carbs... More

This restaurant was somewhat more of a walk than we bargained for from the Milan train station, but was worth the effort. It was fairly busy on a Saturday night with folks from the neighborhood. There was no English Language menu and trying to communicate with the waiter made experience that much more fun and interesting. He finally resorted to... More

The food is simple but good, this is the only positive note. i reserved for Saturday 12 places but there are only 11 chairs ... a person has to sit on a step with wooden cover 2 hours for the first dish, 3,5 for a complete dinner. 2 of 5 kinds of dishes ordered are not available, and this is... Have interesting brunches - e.g. an Italian region's cuisine compared and scored against an international cuisine. We attended "Liguria vs. Kurdistan" and enjoyed it famously. Kurdistan won, by a narrow margin.

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
