Try the carbonara and a octopus spaghetti. Both are just average. But he vegetables soup is good and the staff is nice.

What a little gem this is- It's full of locals (I mean full- arrive early) and serves as a "fast restaurant" so the lovely waitress told us. Queue for your food, jugs of wine etc and then find a seat in the attractive dining area....More
The most delicious spaghetti carbonara, fantastic bistecca and superb tiramisu! Great food at a great price for being so close to Via Dante and the Duomo. The staff seemed to be family (father and son) and they made you feel like you were invited into...More

We enjoyed a great lunch in this family-operated restaurant. Service is friendly, guests are mostly Italians and not tourists and prices are fair (7€ for Primi Piatti).
The staff could see that we were confused on how to order, so they gave us English menu and helped us very attentively! I certainly love the chicken, and the service is just amazing!
In this small, local restaurant we got good food, and not expensive at all. Great, friendly service. They were very helpful. Even with coperto of €2/person (this includes bread), we didn't pay much at all. I certainly recommend the tiramisu!
