Came here specifically looking for the Milanese meals before our flight back home. They seem quite popular with lunching business groups. They also had specials of the day prices under 10 euros and the plates came out very fast and looked like good portions. I came here for The ossobucco and risotto however. My partner had a spaghetti carbonara. At... More

This place has been around for some time; it is comfortable and unpretentious and well located in the Brera Disctrict; it offers a wide variety of good Milanese and Italian food in general. Prices are very reasonable and portions are abundant. The service is very friendly and efficient.

The food was good but there was nothing in special about it. The recipe is quite basic for different dishes. Still good quality anyway.

I think it is one of the great Italian restaurant in Milano.we went there & eat some delicious Italian food like osso buco, riso salto, risotto, galetto, controfiletto & pasta gnocchi. There stuff also very smart & friendly.I recommended to every visitor to go there just for one time.

The food and ambiance was excellent. The service was very friendly considering we did not speak a word of Italian. The house wine recommendations were also good. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Milan.

I recommend this restaurant. Just off Corso Garibaldi, it offers nice food, very friendly service and a reasonable price. Even more so, considering it's just meters away one of the main nightlife streets in Milan. It was plan B for me as I was originally planning to visit another "trattoria" in the vicinity that night, but it's become one of... More

This restaurant was just around the corner from the hotel where my wife and I were staying--Hotel Ritter. We checked out the area and this appeared to be the best bet. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty and the service was very good. We shared an order of bruschetta al pomo, which was quite good. I enjoyed the... More

Very busy and popular restaurant for lunch, Chinese owner but Italian chefs and good Italian food, served by Rumanian staff. The food and the service was good. Price for two people for two courses and carafe wine, bottle water, and espresso came to 28 euros.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
