Received recommendation for this restaurant while sampling wine today in Pecks Milan. (Sperate review). Three of us were spending evening in Milan after work meetings and looking for a relaxing place to go. While we had an entertaining walk to the area while trying to follow the directions received , the result was worth the search. Located on the bank... More

Great location. Super friendly staff. Food was really dissapointing. I ordered artichoke tart which was tepid on the outside and super cold inside. Then the worst risotto I've eaten in Milan for my second. I've been living here 10years... Such a shame. With a good kitchen this place would be a real gem!

We had meatballs as first dish. Highly recommended. For main dishes we ordered Ossobocu alla Milanese and roast rabbit. Rabbit comes very "anonymous". Just pieces of meat. Good for those that don't like to deal with bones. Ossobocu is also very nice. For dessert we had apple pie, which was fine, but I wish we tried their tiramisu instead.

Had dinner there last Sunday evening with a couple of friends who'd never been to Milan before, so was looking for a place that would really encapsulate all the best elements of a classic Milanese eatery. You can't do much better than Al Coniglio Bianco for this. The food and service was excellent, all served up with a nice mix... More

I'd recommend that you order the traditional appetizers for two but not order anything additional until these are finished. This is an excellent dish but larger than we expected. Their house wine is good. There was some confusion about who was serving us and we had to flag down a waiter several times. Sitting outside is nice but you will... More

Had dinner this past august with my family and we all enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Food was tasty, well presented and perfect portions. Rissotto alla milanese as well as the famous ossobucco were delicious. Had an amazing lobster rissotto as well, which was highly suggested and did not dissappoint.

We went to have dinner on a Tuesday evening after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor. I had the "Cotoletta" and my wife the Risotto alla Milanese and we shared Mondeghili as a starter. The Mondeghili was excellent and tasted very well balanced (you should really try it). The Risotto was also very good. The Cotoletta was ok but for me... More

We went there for a quick drink, but the other customers plates looked very beautiful so we ordered two starters to try, and liked both of them. The food is of good quality, a safe bet for a good dinner. Very tasty bread as well.

We went here at the suggestion of our AirBnB host. She recommended the risotto with saffron and the cotoletta - and it was great! The atmosphere is warm and casual and our server was friendly and informative.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
