If you don't mind eating with your hands and if you're looking for something new and peculiar you should try this one out. You can choose between tall or low traditional tables which were amazing if you ask me. One thing I didn't like was the small variety of food, so there is no choice but everything was very good.... The food is delicious and perfect, beating all near (many!) eritrean restaurants. The owners are very nice and service is made with care. If I have to find a single defect it is speed: I am always hungry and waiting a little too long is a pain for me! But in the end a get my reward!

This is the place to eat a great zighini. Well done, well presented and fast served. You really has to experience the spicy explosion of flavor this meal can give to you. At least once ;) I suggest the lamb one or the mix. They have also the veg option.

My boyfriend and I wanted to experiment with a cuisine that we have never tried before. We were very happy with our meal here. Adulis specializes in cuisine from Eritrea. Since we had no idea what was on the menu, the waiter was happy to explain everything to us. We ended up getting the appetizer (almost like a fried samosa... More

I usually go to this restaurant at least once a month, the food is not varied but so tasty. This is a proper Eritrean restaurant, I suggest to get sambussa as starter and then the spicy beef zighini, with some african wine or beer. Don't forget the tea at the end of your meal, sweet ad spicy.

Probably interesting that's it. We ordered for two, I felt it corresponded to just one people italian meal. I felt like paying for two with the service for one, too much.

Very friendly. Never made an issue about my 2 dogs. Love the original African ambience. The samosa is very good but the zighny is just fabulous. I have a mixed plate with lamb, beed, chicken, spinach, lentils, salad, potatoes and cabbage and more. 3 types of desserts. Excellent. I find it addictive!

Stayed near by and tried this place by chance since they open at 1830 and we have kids. I'm not that familiar with Eritrean food but the food was excellent and the service very friendly. They made a special plate for the kids that wasn't spicy and they said it was great. Highly recommended if you are in the area... More
