I was here for business, and our group really enjoyed the food. The manager did a very good job in serving his suggestions. He told me he worked in Brussels when he heard I am from Belgium. Great food, great company.

A group I am on have regular meetings in Lambrate and we all ended up dining here after our last meeting. I had just picked it out from Tripadvisor reviews but the pothers said that they knew it from experience as a good place to go. The owner speaks at least good French, Italian and English (possibly more) and is... More

I enjoyed it on a friend dinner. We usually meet in Lambrate and pass away from the restaurant several time, we decide to try it we enjoyed seafood! We really appreciate the owner recommendation, you can trust him

10 of us ate in this restaurant close to the station and very convenient to our hotel. Surrounding area no attractive but a warm welcome on a Thursday evening. The owner made suggestions for each course. The mixed starters were mostly seafood and very tasty. Most of the dishes were fish freshly cooked. We also ordered the local wines which... More

My wife booked us in for a meal. Its next (30m away) to the train/metro station in Lambrate in a neighborhood that is pretty blah. In contrast, the restaurant was absolutely fabulous. The decor and setting was very old world Milanese. The service was impeccable (and the owner's charm and enthusiasm was utterly infectious). Then the food came out. We... More

Business trip to Milano and I always come back to Al Sorriso. Owner makes you feel at ease, you can enjoy your time and appreciate the food accompanied with good wine. Let the owner surprise you, Don t look at the menu and NO this won t influence your bill but be prepared to come back :-) ahahahaha.

A surprise because the street in which al Sorriso stands is hard by the railway and a bit down at heel. Do not be put off. This is a lovely little restaurant and we would ahve gone back the next two nights of our stay but it was closed because of a national holiday closing the fish market. We had... More
