The seafood is very good. It was fresh, well cooked and there is a good choice. The waiter was friendly and helpful with our selections. I have given it a 3 as the atmosphere was a little cold. The restaurant feels very bright and a little empty. Maybe on a busier evening it might have had a different feel.

Looking for somewhere to eat around 2.30pm after visiting the Science Museum we came across this small seafood restaurant. It had what appeared a lunchtime menu on a board outside but we were only offered A La Carte menu which was also in English. I had mussel soup which was a tomato based soup with mussels in shells. My partner... More

Very good because the seafood is very good. What it is: very simple non-atmospheric restaurant. It has been there for a long time, under different managers, but has a bare bones feel. In other reviews I see that a reservation is recommended but it wouldn't have been necessary the evening (Sat.) I was there. Very good waiter. He gave excellent... More

This is one of my favourite fish restaurants in Milan. I try to go here for lunch at least once a week and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly. There are a handful of dishes to choose from every day.

Eight of us dined here on our final evening in Milan after a major conference. We had a great evening with excellent fish and shellfish combinations, home-made pasta and good salads. Mussels, clams, oysters, crab, squid and fish dishes were all fresh and well-prepared. The vegetarian in our group was well-catered for with imaginative vegetable and pasta combinations that did... In six weeks traveling through Italy and France, this was hands down the worst restaurant we visited. Food was not nice, meager, and deep fried. Didn't serve the meal that was pre-arranged and shorted us the main course. Took WAY too long to serve the meal and kept pushing drinks on the group. To top it off, our waiter made... More

The owner is ratehr friendly yet not intrusive. Food is varied, fresh, maybe a little rich (especially desserts and salads). Portions are abundant and price is fair. Worth certainly a meal, lunch or dinner. Atmosphere informal but cordial and all clean. Service good and quite up to speed.

We were looking for a place to eat after a long day in the center of Milan, and were directed to this restaurant from a bar next door. It was surprisingly good. Definitely well made food. Not great, but good value, with some dishes were better than others. If you are in the neighborhood, it is a good option.

Given the quick and vicious food poisoning that I received from my otherwise delicious meal at Acqua di Mare, I can not recommend it. I have had bad meals at other restaurants before, so I'm not quick to assign blame, but given what I had eaten the previous two days, I'm certain that my problems came from the fish I... More

I'm vegetarian and had to go to a fish restaurant for a business meeting so it was unavoidable! However compliments to the chef as they made me some lovely mozzarella and tomato antipasti, a pasta with artichoke primi and a salad for secondi. Best of all was the limoncello yoghurt/sorbet thing for desert - it was amazing! The wine they... More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
