You often wonder how a restaurant copes with large bookings and we were certainly a big crowd - 50 of us on a random Wednesday. We had a pre-planned set dinner menu (meat or fish options) and posted on the photos page are shots of the meat option. The food was not as fine (or for that matter as expensive)... More

Located on the main street in Brera, it seemed to be one of the most welcoming. Lively, buzzy atmosphere.Seated at a table on the front but as mentioned before close together and lots of smokers. Service was friendly if a bit slow. We had carpaccio of Fish and Octopus as starters which were disappointing but the mains of Sea bass... More

Excellent choices. Prosciutto and Melone were great. Pastas very fresh. Nice outdoor seating with good service.

The first and main courses were ok but we gave up on dessert because the service would not come to take our order. We waited for ages to get a coffee and yet more ages to get the bill!

Well I am not sure about the recent bad reviews?! We have just had a lovely meal - glass of prosecco on arrival, fantastic Italian food with excellent recommendations, good caring service but not over the top - just right - and great wine and ambience. Would certainly recommend!

This is a nice looking place with tables inside and outside in one of the nicest part of Milan. The food was uniformly unimpressive, just OK. The service was very bad: slow, uncaring and unresponsive.

It is a classical Italian restaurant. Cuisine is average. Waiters are not friendly nor they are polite.

Several of the restaurants I visited on my last trip to Milan were closed (on holiday) but was referred to this one as one of the better alternatives. I had a reservation and requested a outside table and got it with a little resistance from the staff to be seated there. The place was busy but not withstanding my server... More

Amazing place with nice atmosphere and interesting menu. All cold dishes were fantastic and T-bone steak was totally amazing. Nice menu of wines.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
