We got here right when they opened on a Monday evening; I'm so glad we did because the place quickly filled up!! The food was good, traditional Eritrean food. They have a pre-set menu for €17 per person, you get beef, chicken, beans and veggies on enjera bread. My family and I eat Ethiopian food frequently in our hometown and... More

Must go down as one of the finest meals I've had. No menu, you just say whether you want the meat or the veg version. The bread is incredible. Never knew spinach nor cabbage could taste so incredible.

Located very close to Pta. Venezia. The food was to eat by hands. Delicious even the veggy menu. The atmosphere recalls the african style. A must do in Milan even if is not that cheap.

i had dinner at warsa in an evening in early september. I had a wonderful vegeterian nighini (cabbage, lentils, etc...). the place is great (and beautiful ethnic furnishings) the owner absolutely kind. Price was great (45€ for 2 people, drinks included). definetly worth a visit

Faultlessly cooked, traditional and exotic. My first time eating in such an establishment, and eating without cutlery, first time indeed for being given food without ordering it from a menu, as what is cooked in house is what is severed... a set menu. I have no idea what it was but it was gorgeous, and the whole dining area smelt... More

Well, i've been waiting 1 hr to get my dish ready and once there...I didn't have enough bread to eat it (since for the typical cosine you are not allowed to eat with cutlery!!!) so i kept on asking more bread, and ,when it arrived after other 30 min, my dish was already cold and all flavors mixed. On the menu... More

Hi, Thanks for your feedback and we apologies iif you had a less than satisfactory experience especially because Warsa is known for being more than generous with its portions and extra "bread". Warsa is usually fully booked on a typical Saturday evening which is why we have two turns but our regular costumers don't mind as that is part of... More

Family dinner during our summer vacation. We were looking for something spicy after several days of typical Italian food and wandered in after a long day of sightseeing. Our waiter (think he was the son/owner) essentially took charge of ordering. Bread was outstanding, the chicken and meat stew was wonderfully flavored. Placed filled up and nice lively ambiance. Wine was... More

was recommended by friends; my first Eritrean cuisine; extremely satisfying! flavors are a mixed bag of Spanish, Persian, Mediterranean. all good including then house wine my only caveat... eating with your hands... I can see the experience factor but after a serving or too, I would prefer to have utensils instead of wiping and washing every now and then

I always wanted to go, but never had the chance before till a couple of weeks ago: such a brilliant surprise with high quality food and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with some little tables, so I wouldn't recommend it for big party, however as I'm a bit posh, I felt so homely by how... More

Warsa was a very pleasant surprise for the high quality of food served in total traditional Eritrean style , quick service and most of all a unique surrounding , really close to a replica of Far away African environment . The walls , the small tables and the skins hanging on the walls gave its very warm feeling , the... More
