I was there alone on a business trip. The scallop as starter was not as tender as it should if it was fresh, the taste is not that great too. My main was black rice with salmon with cream and sage. The rice is quite hard and it didn't taste that great either. The only thing I was happily surprised... More

Our waiter spoke excellent English and guided us through the menu whilst we drank a complimentary glass of prosecco. We ordered a house white and a €34 bottle of red. Very good and sensibly priced wine list. We had octopus, avocado and artichoke to start - warm - with garlic bread given and also a bread in a brown bag... More

Our meal at this restaurant was impressive, as the title of my review. The welcome you get when you enter this restaurant, makes you already feel as if you had been there before. The staff are very helpful with the choice of food, and very attentive and good explanation of the food was given. The food arrived and it was... More

We asked for the 12€ menu: very cheap, indeed, but the food was deffinetely NOT GOOD. Overcooked fish for the first and second dishes. After meal we... More

We choose to eat at this restaurant after reading some good evaluations, but our experience was lower than we expected. We made a reservation and we were informed that the restaurant was full. The conditions were that we could have a table from 19:30 until 21:00. We accepted that and the time was not a problem. The waitress was polite.... More

We came across this restaurant on Sunday evening having been staying in a local hotel and out walking looking for somewhere for supper The area is part of the financial district and so very little open on a Sunday night with the exception of MCdonalds This restaurant offers an enclosed area for al fresco dining on the pavement and a... Absolutely adore this restaurant but the staff seems to be a little lost during lunch service - it's forgivable since the restaurant was packed with hungry customers. My fifth visit and I strongly recommend that you make a reservation - prefably a month's notice, otherwise you'll have to wait a loooooooooong time, if you decide to walk-in. Delicious Italian food.... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
