We just dropped in because it was near our hotel. What a beautiful surprise! The food was the best I've had in a long time, the service impeccable, the little complimentary surprises: sparkling white wine, a little incredibly delicious appetizer and a selection of sweets, the ambience, everything. We returned a couple of days later with some friends and everyone... More

The location is very good (close to Duomo). Most of the customers were locals. The restaurant has a nice and cosy atmosphere. Is like you go back in time!! There is a sweet pianist playing classical music. The food was excellent. The service was great.

This is a restaurant off a small alley close to La Scala and the Duomo. You know you are up to something special because there is no advertising outside to indicate that this is a restaurant. Most of the clientele are locals. Inside the place is beautiful with a pianist playing classical music. The food was outstanding from start to... More

In a little alley you find this spacious restaurant. Great service, serving very traditional Milanese food.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, service is good, but it the osso bucco a la milanese - which is supposed to be a local speciality - that we ordered was quite disappointing: tasteless, with a sauce with too much gelatine and an overcooked risotto. A shame because with a good cook it would be a very nice place where... More

staying near central madrid, we found La Dolce Vita on the internet and gave it a go. 5 minutes from the Duomo square the restaurant is on a quiet back street and probably doesn't see much passing trade and there we three or four other parties in on the monday night we visited. we didn't expect much from the location,... #11 on an alley street was what we were looking for while walking to this restaurant. It was a slow night for a friday with only 3 tables being served. We were told though that it was very busy the previous night.Velvet buttoned chairs and wall frescoes of fruits and canvas paintings adorn this old world charm ambiance They normally... More

I've been there at noon. We were there around 12:30 and no one around. 30 minutes later all tables were occupied. Good service, discrete and understanding English enough not to have problems. Ideal for a business lunch or dinner as the ambience is really quiet. Food very good and served appropriately.
