Place is rather small, with tables barely able to fit two plates with pizza. The waiter was bit confused when taking orders, but the food was good and we got it fast. The prices are good for this part of the city. Toilet better don't use if you don't need.

We stopped by this place to have some pizza for lunch, which was quite good. Hard to say anything bad or good about the service. Friendly waiter but he was quite busy so it was not easy to get his attention. We sat outside where tables are located near crowded walkway. The only memorable disadvantage about this place was the... More

We just passed by and wanted to eat. Usually in Italy place should not look super cool to have excellent food. Unfortunately it will s not the case here. Place is dirty and food is below average. Don't try!

I love this place. It's my local hangout. I love the crowd, cool and laid back. I've met, during the past couple of years, a few new friends here (including the waiters :) ). The restaurant is a little hidden gem. I love the evening managers, a couple of spirited sisters w a huge heart.

We stopped here for lunch while walking through Milan. It's the kind of place you are likely to skip unless you know it's really good. Table on the pavement scared us in the beginning as it looked rather touristy – but once inside we knew it's a local gem. Good rustic italian food: we had pasta, burrata with fresh vegetables... This is a great little bar in the fashionable district of Brera a, and we called for a drink as there was a good sax player playing some good jazz. It is obviously a popular place, and would love to have stayed there longer to make an evening of it. However the barman was not very friendly, and we did... More

Without consulting TA first, we were starving & decided to lunch here; take in the people-watching in this competitive street. We sat inside to get away from any smokers. Service was prompt enough & friendly (until we got to paying); food was absolutely fine (hubby had a decent pizza, and I ordered "tonno rosso tartare"---the most expensive thing on the... More

Not what we'd hoped for. Pizza a bit greasy and the pasta was made earlier and just warmed up in the microwave. The location is nice and we had a good table but the food was a bit of a let down

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
