When I am in Milan, I eat often in Pizzeria Monterosso. The pizza is special with very nice and unique taste, and honest price. The place is in Porta romana which is one of my favorite zone of Milan and it is great that you can enjoy talking and meeting people during eating your pizza. I have the chance to... More

I'm in Milan for work very often. I stumbled across this place on my way to the underground. The smell coming from the shop was amazing, so I had to try it and I was not disappointed. Really good dough and generous toppings. What a good find!

Still I haven't found any like Monterosso where no matter at what time you'll get there, you always find incredible pizza ready made of so many different kind. Everytime I go there I discover a new style of pizza and..... More

They sell pizza by the slice, which is weighed (nice), but not cheap at all. The taste was ok, but incredibly average. If you're hungry late at night, this is ok, but otherwise?

Monterosso amazing pizza and focaccia are my favorite spot in town. Strong of a more than 20 years experience, the pizza you can find here is absolutely unique in Milan's panorama. Ingredients and recipes are classic and eclectic at the same time. Definitely a must, keep yellow line drop off at Porta Romana station. The shop is a single window,... More

I often return home on Sunday in the evening, and it has sort of become a tradition to grab a quick dinner at Ristoro Monterosso. There's always a good variety, the service is friendly and the pizza is fresh. While I wouldn't say it's an incredible pizza (it's only a matter of preference, as I prefer thin-crust pizza and here... More

We happened on to this little place while walking to the Metro from our hotel. We decided to grab a quick bite before heading to the sights. So glad we did! The pizza was excellent and the service friendly. The cheese tasted especially fresh. The slices were large, and cut into small squares for ease of eating while standing up.... More

after years of activity, this small pizza shop has created a community of local people that eat the great pizza they make everyday. During spring and summer, outside on the street you always find someone talking playfully and meeting up with the other guests: a social place. But obviously I come here for the focaccia and the pizza (and above... More
