The sushi was delicious and extremely high quality. It is a bit pricey but very filling so you shouldn't spend more than €20/25 per person. Highly recommended!

Basara sushi is one of the best sushi place in milano, very particular dishes and many unique creations of the chef. The service is much better here than in the twin restaurant in corso italia (where the manager is really rude) I recommend to ask for suggestions if it's the first time, they are really nice is guiding you through... Our dining experience was outstanding from every perspective: nice location in a trendy part of the city, efficient and friendly service, and of course superb quality food. Traditional Japanese dishes e.g. sashimi or tempura and on top of that a lot of creativity. A must is the mix of lobster rolls and fois-gras rolls - not to be missed! All... More

This restaurant is originally a cafe bar even selling cigarettes. A corner has been transformed in a sushi bar. The food is acceptable but not more. The service is good and the personnel agreeable.

We had to sit at the bar when we went for dinner since there was no table available. This place is always packed with people so that's why we decided to try it. And we will return. The service is very fast and friendly, food is yummy and it has a huge variety of plates to choose, it's a bit... More

The menu in the restaurant is quite short, but all the dishes they cook, they cook very good. Very good offers for the lunch. Fish is always fresh. Desert - green tiramisu broke my heart.

We came across this restaurant while wandering the maze of streets in Venice. We arrived at 8pm without a reservation. We were immediately found a table for 2 and made very welcome. We were relatively new to sushi, the staff were very helpfull and informative about the selection of dishes. We had the most lovely 3 course meal very varied... More

Milano has a lot of fresh fish. But in this place the Japanese chefs make something very special out of it. Great sushi, great desert. Make sure you try the crude wasabi.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
