If you are around the Duomo & want a cheap but excellent lunch this is your spot! You have the option of ordering your own food inside or a server can attend to you. We went 5/22/17 around 1pm & their server was excellent! It was only him for multiple tables & he was attentive & on it for everyone!... More

My friend and I visited here for lunch and were not disappointed! We were greeted with a smile and were described every single sandwich combination possible. Our waiter was also incredibly accommodating for vegetarians/vegans too. Spent at least 2 hours here watching the world go by and enjoying a great and very reasonably priced (5 euro) lunch. Would go again... More

Our first day in Milan and we weren't quite sure where to eat for lunch. We literally lucked upon this little gem. Good prices, great food and no service charge! Food came out quick, was fresh and tasty. Recommend any time. Shame it was closed on Sunday, as we went back for seconds!

This place has a wonderful array of sandwiches stuffed with Italian ingredients. They also offer fantastic salads, I can recommend the tuna one. Take away or eat in. Also excellent coffee to finish. Very busy around lunch time.

Looking for a place to grab a nice and easy lunch, we found this place close to the Duomo di Milano. Staff was really friendly. Fast service. Nice amount to choose from. Good price to quality. Coffee was also good. I would recommend it.

This popular panini shop is only a 5 min walk from Milano Duomo. You would think there would be more panini shops in this touristy area, but there really isn't. Wait in line and order a 5 Euro sandwich. Varied selection from cold cuts to breaded eggplant to veal. Place is usually crowded so have to find somewhere outside to... More

Trip Advisor reviews brought us here and it was exactly as people had said, great friendly service, freshly made delicious paninnis and good coffee, all at a reasonable price. It is a great place for a quick bite to eat and you can sit outside and watch the locals all try and pile in at lunch trying to get their... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
