First time in a restaurant with a Michelin star, I was really impressed by the goodness of the cuisine. Amazin food and surprising flavours with excellent wine pairings; the service was also top level. The price is high but definitely appropriate for a dining experience...of this level. We had an appointment for 7.30pm and found ourselves at Eataly early on the day. We tried to enter the restaurant at 7pm and was told that unless we ordered a drink, we would not be allowed to wait inside the restaurant. We have been...to some nice places and never have we been told something like that before. When we went back at exactly 7.30pm, the restaurant door was locked, only to open at 7.31pm. The maitr'D then barked at us to follow his colleague to our table. No smile, no welcome, nothing. Food wise, the portions were big. When asked, my husband indicated a dietary preference for no lamb and no cheese. The very first course had cheese in it and one of the desserts had ricotta in it which he spat our promptly. At the end of the meal, we gave feedback about this and the Maitre'D still asked him how he liked the cheese items. It was our last night in Italy and I honestly, I regretted arranging this dinner.More

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere to it. It was fully booked when we were there, yet it wasn’t noisy in any way. We opted for a menu with wine pairing. From beginning to end I absolutely loved each course. Would go again whenever back...in Milan.More

Frankly one of the best dinners we have ever had. Excellent excellent food. Wonderfully nice and discrete staff. And all of this is in a really relaxed atmosphere. Love the wooden tables. Absolutely recommend a visit. Well done!

We arrived to a huge gourmet supermarket, on the second floor we found quite and unique restaurant, balanced atmosphere, open and wide, genteel and warm welcome, but nothing prepared us to such a unique experience, we had 7 testing dishes , all was excellent &...suppressing , we enjoy very much, we recommended this experience to all of you.More

Last night we ate at Alice Restaurant (Viva). It does not deserve a Michelin star, it does not deserve a good review from anyone, it does not deserve to be open.. The food was (without exception) mediocre to actually bad. From the fried pizza to...the greasy oily clam pasta (1 clam). It took more than 3 hours to eat and the only thing that was good was the bread. There were an incredible number of lovely serving dishes containing very very small portions of cold and unsucessful flavour combinations. We all ended up hungry, bad tempered and considerably poorer. Even the dessert was bad. Do not waste your timr or money and please Michelin remove their star !!!!More
