Cozy, friendly risotto restaurant in Milan, that serves amazing risottos (the saffron risotto with Rosso bucco is immense and delicious) and has friendly staff. The place gets full pretty much every night with locals, especially the large table in the middle of the restaurant which seems to host a big family party every night, so reservations are recommended.
Great for loud dinners with friends and family, not ideal for that perfect romantic dinner with your loved one: unless you're looking for a night out where you stuff yourself full of delicious food and waddle home.

The place is nice with rustic style. The food is very good and tasty, the portions are abundant and you will go home with full stomach. The price is right for the foods served. I recomend this Risotteria for every tourist who wants to taste an Italian Milanese food (Risotto to be exact) because they have 24 different types of risottos. The appetizers are must have! I loved the fried mushrooms. The house wine taste divine for me. The owner and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The deserts are homemade! The tiramisu and the sbrisolona are the best. I will surely come back to Milan and eat again here.

A restaurant a little out of the way but in Milan access by tram or bus is very easy. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, you could walk straight through without seeing it. But above all, stop! A restaurant far from tourists and frequented by Milanese families. Their specialty: risotto. To summarize, it’s homemade, very good, plentiful. A special mention for the “pizzoccheri freschi”. Don’t miss the “cipolla al forno zucca e crema di gorgonzola” as a starter…
And to top it all off, the restaurateur who is no longer young is remarkably kind.

The venue is small in size. A room with the kitchen next to it. The structure of the neighborhood trattorias and restaurants. Few frills and correct and tasty cuisine. A limited choice in the number of options but not in quality. Try the proposals for dishes to share. Many risottos with choices that are sometimes traditional and sometimes original. Handy place, the owner and his son are really kind and helpful. You can choose from many varieties of risotto and they are all excellent. I've been there a few times before so I've tasted several. To start, I highly recommend an appetizer of sage and fried mushrooms. To conclude, if you find it, don't give up on the fig tart. It's one of my favorite places.

For dinner in this small Milanese trattoria on Sunday 3 December. Simple but well-kept place, selection of excellent Lombard cured meats followed by a main course with ossobuco and Milanese risotto. A fairy tale that only those who cook with passion can turn into reality. Friendly and competent service. Prices more than fair. Vote? 100 cum laude and I can't wait to return to Milan for another visit.

Thank goodness there are places like this left.
A simple place, a real tavern, with delicious, well-made food and generous portions.
I ate the saffron, chestnut and mushroom risotto and would have had 3 more portions. The ricotta cake with incomparable lemon aroma.

We went to this restaurant just to taste the risottos, 10 different risottos served with perfect timing one after the other at a price that I would dare say is rock-bottom for these times. It's a special experience that I would recommend to everyone, but come to the restaurant very hungry, please.

Discovered via Facebook, very pleasant experience.
We had dinner with true Milanese cuisine, it took us back in time.
Starters: fried sage and fried mushrooms which are difficult to find, incredible variety of risottos and very tasty main courses (ossobuco with risotto, cutlet etc)
Friendly, courteous and welcoming owner, you feel at home.
