This restaurant has a pretty, old world decor which makes it quite charming. The food was delicious and the bread and pasta were both made in-house. The service was equally good. We enjoyed the "short pasta" with salmon and eggplant. It was perfectly cooked! The pasta itself was a shape we haven't seen before-sort of like fusilli but not exactly.... More

If you didn't know to look for a restaurant st this address you might walk past it every day without noticing the doorway that leads to it's inner courtyard dining...sadly too cool to enjoy during our visit. The cuisine and service make it a gem worth finding! Having menus in English and staff sufficiently fluent to make the visit very... More

I'm always a bit sceptical about hotels recommending restaurants to me as in a lot of cases there seems to be a financial arrangemt at work but on this occasion I'm very happen to have taken the hotels receptions's advice to visit here. We had a couple of very nice pastas and an excellent dessert all well served at a... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we are so glad we went. Definitely the best meal we had whilst in Milan. The service was excellent and we throughly enjoyed a relaxed delicious meal, with Italian wine of course! We enjoyed wine, pasta and dessert for 70 euro. English menus provided and our waiter spoke English well enough to... More

We had dined here two years ago when we last visited Milan. Once again,we enjoyed a delicious meal and excellent service. Alas, they no longer serve complimentary prosecco, but that did not dampen my enjoyment. The food is classic Milanese: the veal is sweet and tender and the Veal Milanese is enormous and moderately priced. Overall, a very relaxing and... More

Loved the place, food and staff!! A bit of a hidden gem with good prices and excellent food. A few hundred meters away from duomo - worth the walk...

Hostaria Borromei: has become one of my favourite restaurants in town! I recommend to taste the dish called Risotto con gamberi al profumo di lime.. it's really delicious!!! Top quality of food, good presentation and good service. The kind of restaurant that I seriously appreciate. God job!

The dinner we had here was very good . The scallops and octopus appetizers ordered were all excellent as well as the seafood pasta dish ordered. My husband ordered the special sea bass ( branzino) & it was very tasty and fresh. The restaurant is rather small and was fully packed with clients.. at times, the service was a bit... More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
