Whichever way you want to dress this up this place is essentially a cafe in a mall. Food is good, though the portions are minuscule in relation the extravagantly over-inflated price. But worst of all is the service. We had to ask to order drinks...More

The terrace is located in the heart of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. You can enjoy elegant atmosphere and the best ice cream around this area albeit expensive.

We walked past this place earlier in our visit & it looked very inviting, we returned for dinner on our final evening in Milan. We reserved a table & were given a great table outside. Excellent for people watching. It was a very busy evening...More

Does the owner of the cafe at least have an idea how the cafe is managed and what kind of service is being provided. I don't think so! To start off it's an expensive cafe in the city centre, hence it should have an amazing...More

Again I had hopes. Hopes the I would finally find the famous Italian gelati that would be better than - for example - the Belgian "Australian homemade icecream. Forget it. I tried 4 tastes: just normal. Only the pistachio tasted incredibly as a concentrate of...More

Savini was a beautiful place to eat in a restaurant or to take a gelato a walk around the unique and faboulous Gallery Vitoria Emmanuel. Flavor of cinnamon was very tasty if you like cinnamon.

Great location. Fantastic view. Food is ok, overpriced but considering the location, this is acceptable. However the service is terrible. It take ages to get a bottle of water, or some parmesan for the pasta and eventually the bill. When examining the receipt, I found...More

Upon arrival in Milan we headed to the Galleria to enjoy the "sidewalk" people watching of this ristorante and caffe. We had some of the best Italian food anywhere. Although we were prepared for tourist fare, happily it was not.

Starting from the appetizers, the buratta was fresh and the onion soup was delicious!! Risotto didn't suit my taste buds though.. We asked if they offer penne pasta with white sauce and pizza, and they said yes even though it wasn't included in the menu

Savini is the name of the first owner, Virgilio Savini, who opened this place in 1884. It used to be very famous with visits of well known people from all over the world. Now it is taken over by another family.

Today, like 150 years ago, we try with great enthusiasm to make that who sit down in our tables for a lunch, dinner or coffee, feels into a spiritual history, but also in Italian enogastronomical history that we follow with great care and attention.
