Been here twice lately: The two of us for lunch on a sunday and the second time with another couple for dinner:The menu is very articulated and offers a good choice of food including vegetarian dishes as well as set menus.Prices are fair and as expected from an ethnic restaurant in Milan. Service quick and friendly.

Dined here as we wanted something different from Italian food. However the food was very disappointing, it really lacked flavour and spice. We ordered vegetarian samosas and palak tiki to start, each dish was garnished with a battered onion ring for some strange reason, the palak tiki is supposed to contain spinach (hence the name) but you can't taste any... You can choose to have your lunch or dinner a la carte or with a special combo which offer different combination of indian dishes, vegetarian option are available as well, the dining room is picturesque and furnished with an indian touch, the food isn't outstanding and quite expensive, you can try this Indian restaurant once maybe at s.Valentine time !

It's with a heavy heart that this once highly regarded restaurant has gone south! The last (and I mean THE LAST) time I ate there, nothing was good -- just bland, not fresh, tiny portions! Samosas and chicken korma were the only two that were ok. Chicken biryani was mushy. Garlic naan was extremely dry. We paid over €80 for... More

Visited the restaurant recently with family. Child friendly, polite service, relaxed atmoshpere, good dishes and mainly reasonable prices. Try the cheese-bread. Book in advance.

After a couple of weeks of craving Indian food, being a British Indian, this place hit the spot. A nice ambience, welcoming staff, and good quality food. Slightly put off by the prices, and would have expected some rice to go with the high prices as complimentary. However, perhaps the closest to an authentic Indian meal in Milan. Way better... More

We had the 3 mix platter starter, 2 chicken biryanis, 5 naans, 1 chicken curry and 1 palak paneer for 5 of us. The quantity was very little compared to other restaurants over the world. The bill was about 67 Euros.

We chose the menu formula for dinner with mixed starters, main course and dessert. The quantity of food is very wide and quality is good. Staff has been kind and at disposal. The expense was around 25 euros each, in line with comparable restaurants

The place was nice enough and the staff very friendly. Fast service is usually a good thing but this looked and felt like the food was sitting around waiting to be served. The tikka masala looked stewed or boiled and was tasteless. The lamb korma too was actually awful...grisly and tasteless. Most indian restuarants serve large portions which can be... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
