We paid €60 euros for 1 bad pizza, 1 bad pasta, wine and coke. Dingy interior, waiters were watching football on two giant flat screens. Not run by Italians so no real ambient nor real specialities or real italian cooking. I feel SO angry at...myself that I did not check those ridiculous prices. Just go a little but further through this street you will find WAY better options.More
We were really hungry & needed to eat before we returned to our Hotel which was closeby. This place is in an excellent location close to St Marks Square. We weren't sure about the atmosphere - it was sort of sports bar meets italian restaurant,...& we ended up ordering something that was a cross between a hot dog & sandwiches. I actually enjoyed mine - but but kids weren't very impressed with theirs. The service was rather slow, although we were the only ones in the restaurant!More
This was just opposite our hotel and we popped in for a drink one evening on the way home. It was handy and OK, a touch expensive though - a cup of tea was almost as expensive as a glass of wine.
Don’t think this place knows if it’s a bar , a snack bar, a restaurant, a sports bar or a hotel lobby. It is in different rooms and had large screen TVs in each with different games on but seats are at tables set out...for eating. It’s always very empty with few people eating. Drinks are expensive Beer is 13 euros a pint and small cocktail would be the same. Watch a match and it could cost 50 euros for a few drinks!! Not great atmosphere. Staff try but look fed up.More
After we finished eating the food was so good we decided to leave a review saying just that. Upon reading the horrible reviews we were shocked. This was not our experience at all!! I’m not sure what everyone else had but our service was amazing!...Everyone more than loved their food. Family of five served very quickly for the most part and when husbands food took longer they gave him a free beer for the trouble. Pizza was to die for and pasta was just as delicious. Cappuccino was perfect and hot chocolate also good. Overall this place was amazing!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone who comes by!!!More
Stopped in first place I saw. What a mistake. Should have read the reviews first. Very pricey and terrible. Coffee tasted like dirty drinking water, was half a glass full, and cost €6.50. What a joke! Avoid at all costs!
Popped in for a couple of drinks after dinner. Beer €13 for a pint, glass of ptosecco €8.50!! RIP OFF! I sat and watched them decide between them what to charge tourists as they came in and make fun of them!!!! Prices varied depending on...whatever they felt like charging. Very poor. No atmosphere, fast food like! No clear prices. Go a few streets back and get better quality for a lot less €€€. DO NOT BOTHER!!!More
Should have read the reviews. Terrible. Asked for a medium beer and was charged for the dearest beer on the menu. Just taking advantage of tourists. One medium beer for 13 euros. Ridiculous.
My husband and I came to watch a Champions League match (on slightly damaged tv screens might I add) and decided to have something to eat when watching. I ordered veggie lasagne, my husband the mushroom risotto. Both meals were below average and the lasagne...was worse than a frozen meal. We were hungry and ate. For this we paid (including sparkling water, sprite and a hot chocolate) €56.50. I went to the bar to explain to the staff that for this price the food simply should be much much better. The Male waiter then proceeded to tell me that I had finished my plate so it couldn’t have been that bad. He also got rather angry as I explained I was simply offering feedback which is my right as a paying customer. He did not offer any apology and his sullen female colleague stood behind me listening but not offering any solutions either. In the end, we paid and left but this is an absolute embarrassment to Italian food (or any cuisine for that matter). Do not waste your money, or torture your tastebuds.More
As this is the only restaurant near our hotel that is open, we just went in for a quick dinner. Luckily, we only ordered 1 set meal (1 first course + 1 drink). We ordered risotto with mushroom, and when it comes, the look is...so disappointing. Well, its hot, but i do have a feeling its not cooked, its microwaved. Worst part is, the mushroom does not taste like mushroom (refer to 2nd pic attached). The whole risotto has a powdery taste. We finished for the sake of paying so much (eur18) for the food. Also, there is 15% service charge, which is higher than other restaurants (mostly 10% only). NOT recommended at all for anyone....More
