Visited Venice with a friend and did a tour called "Eat Like the Locals...Authentic Venice Small Group Food Tour" and this was one of our stops. I probably would not have found this restaurant on my own. It's a small old restaurant with a pretty...More

Cool little ciccetti bar, very lively around lunch time with decent prices for snacks and wine. Nice and close to Rialto bridge so it's worth dropping in.

This is a small bar / eatery that combines history, atmosphere and good food and wines. The two 'capi' behind the bar could do with cheering up a bit but service was efficient if not uplifting at the end of the day. All our Cicchetti...More

Close to Rialto bridge we found a small diamond. Great assortiment of real Venetian snacks and fabuolous wines.

This is a dark wooden bar with copper pots traditionally used for cooking polenta hanging from the ceiling. Lots of locals in there for lunch. Standing room only. Serves good house wine and traditional cicchete (topped bruschetta and other small portions of food). Not open...More

The cicchetti were amazing and I would like to try everything there. After several pieces, it could be a filling lunch already. I like the atmosphere there with very classic decoration. Highly recommended!

Tired food served by two guys who seem annoyed to serve you. Living off of a Rick Steve's review, this cantina needs to get a new attitude. Food was not tasty or appealing to the eye.

This is a recommendation from Rick Steves and it did not disappoint. You'll have to try the variety of Ciccheti ( sort of italian tapas) as well as the house wine, which is incredible. We went when the place was closing and they had to...More

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San

We went through Viator and booked the Venice Food Tour: Cicchetti and Wine. They were great but, as stated by the previous person, going on your own and getting lost can be part of the fun.
