We went back twice here as can’t forget the taste of variety Cichetti we tried and great house red wine. Very reasonable price we pay for house red wine at €2.5 and Cichetti average at €1-2.5. On top of the foods, the atmosphere here is...More

We had read about this eatery online, but came upon it quite by chance while loafing through the alleys of Venice. With pots and pans suspended from the ceiling and the walls behind the counter lined with flagons of wine, this cicchetti bar was a...More

We stopped by here for some lunch. You can feel that this is really an authentic place. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice and a bit busy. We tried bruschettas with different cheeses, tramezzinos (the local triangular sandwich). All very good. Most...More

this baccaro is extreeme; decent food; great wines; nice atmosphere ,,,, then comes the bill. Let's be honest, its not that expensive, but sufficiently expensive for you to think; "for that kind of money I could have a sit-down hot restaurant meal"

Found this place for a quick informal lunch. Surroundings are rustic but the tapas style choice good, varied and reasonable price. Wine choice good too. Popular with locals which is always a good choice. Try it.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six

neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
