My husband and I made a last minute reservation here. We sat with two wonderful Italian ladies for lunch service. Every bite that we are here was wonderful. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. We've had good experiences with every meal we've had but this was by far the best. I would highly recommend this restaurant to... More

We (family of 4) popped in on a Tuesday night and were lucky to get a table. We enjoyed it so much we booked for the next night too which was very lucky because they were completely booked out. There were dozens of people stopping by to get a table who were all sadly turned away. I think the fact... More

We stumbled upon this spot while looking or an open restaurant on a Monday night. Although we did not have a reservation, we were able to get a shared tabled in the back. Tiny little dining area with authentic Italian dishes. Our waiter helped to translate and we had some great pasta.

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague - so glad we went here. The food was beautiful. Two of us were vegetarian and loved the choice. The waitress kindly translated the menu for us. The puddings were lovely too. Would recommend.

As my wife is vegetarian and it was her 50th birthday on this trip I did some research to find somewhere that is veggie friendly. This place looked highly recommended and we found the food and service was fantastic. Great meat and veggie choices, great service and we would definitely come back

We dropped by and got a sharing table which was not a problem. We had a table booked for later but decided it was too late for us. They were very accommodating and we had a beautifully presented meal and tasted very nice it being very authentic. Service was pleasant. Go if you get the chance.

Full when passing by in November, you have to book. Really cooked dishes, better than many fully for tourists places. Good choice of wine. Nice service even if the welcoming woman must be forced to produce a smile. A bit expensive.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
