We dined here twice in a week staying on Sant Elena. It felt like a world away from the tourist bustle of Venice. The menu was interesting and well designed, a balance of local seafood and a meaty plate for those who aren't so keen...on the fish! The staff were also great fun. It is a small, friendly restaurant, and you need to book as it is always busy, and they have to turn people away. All in all a great osteria, just what you wantMore

I ordered the Spaghetti "busara” and Mackerel fillets in citrus flavoured oil which were both incredible and fresh. It’s located in a nice neighborhood away from the tourist craziness. Make a reservation ahead of time online or show up right when they open for lunch...(which is what I did) because it gets booked!More

My friend and I loved this place, it was our "local" for our stay. Good food, good value, lovely people. Busy. Lively.

This place is an absolute gem! Far from the main tourist trail of Venice, a proper neighbourhood restaurant with outstanding food, particularly the fish.

We decided to head out of central Venice and took the short water taxi ride to San Elena and walked back along the waters edge. it is a lot quicker than you think and very easy. After a busy, crowded day in Venice it was...fabulous be somewhere local and peaceful and the food didn't disappoint either. Thoroughly recommend for a visitMore

Good traditional Venetian food with excellent service. A place to relax away from tourist crowds in a peaceful setting. My wife enjoyed her Aperol spritz - best she had in Venice.

My sister and I have been visiting da Pampo for many years now, and hve always enjoyed our visit. but since the new owners took over, it is even better. The choice of food is very good, not just the usual pasta dishes, and the...desserts are amazing. the staff are friendly ,and the new decorations are very tasteful. Thankyou for two superb meals.More
