We were told by the hotel’s receptionist to try this place as it’s not as touristy as lots of other restaurants in Venice. Obviously there were lots of tourists there. Food is okay if you don’t know how a pasta with fish should taste in...More

We chose this restaurant as it was recommended to us by a shop owner as a place that she eats at with her friends. The owner and his staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. We had a Zuppa Fagioli, Lasagne Gamberi...More

We visit this gem of a local restaurant near the Mercato Rialto every time we go to Venice. The owners Silvano and Anna are hard working Venetians who have managed to keep their restaurant true to their Venetian roots - simple and delicious Venetian food...More

We had a great meal here! It’s not fancy at all, but the food was delicious and reasonably priced. It was busy and I loved the atmosphere as well. The pasta dishes were really tasty and I am sure it was by accident but there...More

Great little restaurant, 2 minutes from Rialto Bridge, but not the typical tourist trap. Family owned and operated. They treat you like family. Great wine list. Reasonable prices.

I found this restaurant on recommendation from a Venice local. I was enticed in by the polpette and arancini balls. The Sepia spaghetti was amazing and wine was even better at a low price. I definitely recommend giving this place a look and popping in...More

Our B&B manager recommended this place. We enjoyed our meals, the wine, and the service was wonderful. Our Italian is very limited and our server spoke a bit of English, but we hit it off with her. Toward the end of our night she brought...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
