We've been here a few times over the years and think that it is good value, not a tourist trap, good food and a nice location, Although it is at the far end of the Grand Canal by near to the railway station there is...More

Upon arrival the hotel recommended Provolone. Lunch was just ending but the waitress was awesome. At the end of the meal she gave us a piece of cake the baker had just made and a shot to was it down at no charge. We enjoyed...More

We ate here as a group on the last evening in Venice and Italy. We had a five course dinner that offered some choices for each course. Between me and my wife we had a nice meal with good people, a pleasant atmosphere, good food...More

Came here based on the recommendation of our hotel front desk. We had pizza (big enough for 2), bruschetta, and a couple of beers. Be sure to dine like an Italian (which is not rushed and take in the view and enjoy each others company)....More

Went here on last night of Venice visit. Food wasn't bad but had eaten much nicer on trip. Vegetarian pizza had carrots and peas on top which we found unusual to say the least. Vegetarian lasagne was also only average. Staff friendly .wouldn't return ad...More

We were looking for a place WITHOUT someone standing outside enticing us to enter, so we almost passed this one by because of the person standing outside. In the end, though, we had a pleasant meal on the Grand Canal--on the terrace but away from...More

Right on the canal, this restaurant is clean and well laid out. Make sure you get a table outside right on the water's edge. Pizzas are exceptional and the place always seems to be busy. A good selection of well-priced wines and friendly staff make...More

We saw the terrace from the bridge, what attracted us. Even though I really can’t stand enticing waiters, it looked really nice. What we found was a very nice looking, typical Italian restaurant with friendly staff members. Looking at the menu, it had a much...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Yes, they take reservations. Depending upon the time of the evening, you may or may not need them. I suggest asking your hotel to call and make reservations for you. It works better that way
