We stayed in Dorsoduro and ate in this street almost every night. The restaurants were very reliable. This one is mainly seafood and fish and very good quality food. Staff are friendly. We walked past during the day and popped in to book. Very important!!...More

Food is standard Venitian fare: pasta and fish. Reasonably well done, a good meal, but nothing special. Service was prompt, responsive and with a smile. Wine by the glass was pretty good.

The food is great. Mostly fish and seafood with some very tasty options. Try the grilled seabass, the fish starter or the vegetable starter. Great pumpkin ravioli as well. The atmosphere is nice and homey. Staff is very kind and always helpful. You have to...More

Luckily we booked for lunch on a cold day because there was soon a queue at the door and for good reason. A shared starter of pasta alla scogliera (mussels, scampi, prawn) was delicious with a real depth of taste to the tomato base. Grilled...More

Away form the usual places, behind Academia, nice small osteria which serves excellent seafood. small, friendly but excellent; deserve a visit as it is visited essentially by Italian public. Better make a reservation.

Ssh, don't tell anyone about this gem! Authentic restaurant rather than touristy, tastes very home made. Lots of seafoods, although menu only (at time of writing) in Italian, so took me a little while to order. I'm thinking of going back to Venice just to...More

Came with a group of 7. We split two pastas and a giant platter of mixed grill fish that was amazing. Very good octopus, tuna, and grilled fish.

A bottle of Merlot always goes well with food in Venice and this is no exception. The service is a bit old fashioned and not hasty. You need time to enjoy your meal here and it is worth having all 4 courses on offer so...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
