We stumbled upon this restaurant as we walked through Santa Stefano square one afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. We shared a pizza and a pasta dish, preceded with bruschetta and a glass of white wine. The staff weren't overly friendly but not rude either, but...More

This is a standout among so many great ristorantes in Venice. The setting in Campo San Stefano is a refreshing change from the Rialto/San Marco areas. Outside seating allows you to enjoy the vibrant scene on the square while inside provides a more elegant ambiance....More

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant. It is located in a piazza close to San Marco but less touristy feeling and overly crowded. We sat outside although the inside tables looked lovely too. The waiter was friendly and helpful. He even brought over...More

We went to dinner here twice because the food and service were so outstanding. Try the seared tuna or the wonderful mussels baked in a pastry pan. Great engaging service and wonderful wine list. Attend the concert at St. Stephano afterwards.

Perfect to hang out in the sun on lovely Campo San Stefano for late lunch or early dinner. After tasting a lot here, we loved the following pasta most: Calamarata con Pesce Spada e Melanzane (Calamarata With Swordfish And Aubergine) and Millerighe alla Norma (Pasta...More

We went to a strings concert nearby that let out at 10:30 and we're very pleased to see that this restaurant was still open. We were seated immediately and received our menus. My wife ordered the Caprese salad and I had the calamata pasta with...More

Best food and service we have experienced in Italy so far. The Antipasti Padrino is a sight for your eyes and an amazing taste treat for your senses. The mussels served in a deep pie dish covered with a puffed up cover of pizza dough...More

Went here while in Venice with my boyfriend and we were very leased with our meal here. We had to wait about half an hour for our table but the servers were very accommodating and gave us bread and a pre dinner drink to hold...More

Their menus are all in Italian only, so I can't say for certain. However, it's a very good restaurant, and all the other such places we visited had a note about special requirements on their menus. Our waiter could speak... More

Description
Just accross the Ponte Ascedemia. Lovely and serean in a quiet pizza very near to Pizza San Marco. Wine not served by the glass - they open a bottle of wonderful house wine and only charge you for what you drink. Excellent friendly service and good food.
