The main reason to come back to Venice! Unique, a role model pizza - for the whole year we were eating only in pizza al volo ;))

Really good pizza (not exactly Italian style) the slices are good - cheap, would be nice with more variety of topping for the slices

A take away outlet with a long list of options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. We ordered small pizzas at €5.50 each and couldn't finish them. There can be a bit of a queue. Best to get there early. Open during the day and evening.

When we saw all the college kids standing in line for slices of pizza, figured this was a good place to try. Carry out only, but even on a busy Friday night, it took very little time to get a whole HUGE pizza for about 12 Euros! There is a big numbered sign of different pizzas but unless you know... More

For 3.5€ you can have big slice and small beer. This is more of take away place but you can eat while standing although place inside is limited. I think this was the best pizza I had whike I was in Venice. Definitively best value for money pizza in town.

We went because the supermarket was closed, was thinking to cook in accommodation, so we checked the restaurants around the supermarket and decided to take some pizzas home. It's very nice pizza, thin, tasty and very cheap. We ordered one family size and one normal size. The family size is huge.

We were very impressed by the good taste and the price we paid to get them. Definitely recommend! Was a bit sceptical about street pizza from few previous tries in other places. But this one totally standout!

We're skeptical about a lot of food reviews on TA (especially the 'best pizza in Venice' type- what? You've tried them all?), this little place does produce really good quality pizza (not the best we've ever had!) and a very reasonable price- which makes it pretty outstanding in Venice. Proper crisp base and crust, a wide range of toppings, eat... More

Went here twice, thin crust pizza, big slices for 2 euros each, so cheap, SO good. I could live off this.

We had a quick bite here. They continuously make different kinds of pizza and then sell slices from it. I saw other customers getting custom made pizzas as well. For a price of €2, the pizza slices were really good and tasty. The drinks in cans were only a euro each and added to the good experience. I would totally... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
