This used to be one of the best places for chicetti but is let down by the indiferrent bread they use which is dissapointing as really good bread is now available in Venice

Great little wine shop on one of the canals just off the grand canal. Like an off license... Where you can buy a bottle and drink it on the premises or you can just have a glass of wine. And some tapas style bread nibbles. Very reasonably priced... Definetily worth s visit.

We stopped in here on the spur of the moment and were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious and the service just fine. Just what we needed after an energetic morning sightseeing.

Just 5 mins walk along the canal from our hotel this was the perfect place for a pre-dinner aperitif. We didn't try the finger food but a glass of prosecco, Campari, Aperol, red or white wine was very reasonable at about €2.50 a glass. The place is buzzing with atmosphere and is full of locals, students, business folk on their... More

Our favorite stop for cicchetti & house wine! So yummy and beautiful - they really do a nice job with their variety and display. Stop in - you won't be disappointed!

Still not super friendly but reasonably polite if frosty. Best chichetti ever!! Worth it for them alone and lovely surroundings and wines-if only it was possible to carry them home! It would be nice if you could convey to them that you are a respectful, foodie Venice lover who spends in their city and get a less cool welcome but... More

It was so much fun to pick out little bites (cicchetti) and a glass of wine. And so inexpensive! We got about seven snacks to share, and a glass of wine each--it was only 7-8 euros total! We didn't eat more because we were saving room for dinner. They are closed on Sunday, which is a pity.

I found this site by chance when he was looking for the ""Squero di San Trovaso" where the gondolas are built. The Enoteca is a great site to take a glass of wine and some "cicchettis" or small snacks for local Venetians. Enjoy trying some of them.shrimp with sweet onions- egg, mushroom, and truffle - smoked salmon and cream cheese -... More

this little place has such a wide variety of wine and cicchetti and they're so delicious as well! Prices are a bit of a rip-off but are completely normal compared to all other placed you'll find for cicchetti (personal opinion here that the price is just too high for such a small thing). Still worth trying out I believe!

We stopped for a quick spritz and the place was as great as ever. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist in selecting wine for take away. A MUST place to see.

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
