For 16 euros we bought two traditional pizzas prepared in four flavours just for us! We took it to seat just by the Canal Grande (Antico Forno is close to the Ponte Rialto). It was really awesom! With a great view, just in the sun, with amasingly tasty pizza!!! Grazie Antico Forbo and Venezia:-)

I visited this establishment several times on my last trip to Venice - and am looking forward to returning next year - both for take away pizza and to eat a slice standing at the bar with a bottle of beer. Their pizza selections were fantastic and all deliciously prepared. Oh, and the price was excellent. Highly recommend.

Although there were many different toppings & others seemed happy, I remembered a wonderful thin crust pizza from a year ago that I couldn't see offered. The owner offered to go make one, but surely that would have taken forever...The Roman style fat crust pizza just seemed all bread...oh well, things change. Still, doesn't seem the deal it did

This is perfect to have a different pizza in Venice. They have a large and fluffy dough. They use different ingredients and have a great variety. Quite ok.

Pizza here is really nice- a wider variety of toppings than most places and affordable at 3.50 a slice, it's cosy inside but in a nice area to walk around too, big queue at midday

The place offers Free WiFi.
Air-conditioning is always on: fresh air to fight the hot Venetian summer days and a nice heat in winter.
All the mixtures rise naturally, in a time lapse from 72 (3 days) to 96 (4 days) hours. Thanks to that, all pizzas and flat breads are light and crunchy.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
