Best pizza I have ever eaten! My wife is gluten and lactose intolerant (yes one of those) and they made our meal easy and delicious!

This place was very friendly, the service was fast and the place was very popular when we came in around 3.50pm! The pasta was fabulous and the calzone was good as well the only downside was that the chicken was dry. Would come again for...pasta and coffee! Would recommend for family and couples!More

We dropped in for a quick plate of pasta on our way to the Teatro La Fenice. The service was brisk and friendly. The pasta was fresh and tasty (I had vongole - clams - and my companion had salmon). The prices were very reasonable....It did the job. Maybe the negative reviews on here are from people who were expecting something more upmarket. But at Al Vaporetto what you see is what you get, and if you just want a quick meal with no airs and graces this place fits the bill.More

Bruchetta for the starter was terrible. The roasted chicken was half cold half warm and had an odd flavour. The worst experience ever was the discovery that you have to pass THROUGH the kitchen to go to the toilet!!! ??? Is this event allowed ????!!...Honestly, I can't recommend to anyone.More

the waiter asked to sit on particular table, I asked for a bigger table because we had some bags and coats (it's winter), but he said he is saving for four people. Then I put my stuff on the chair of a different table, but...even though the half of the restaurant was empty, he sat other people by both my sides, so there was no place to put my stuff anywhere besides floor, small table and the chair I was sitting on. The food was terrible, we complained, but they did not want to reduce the price. Just after saying to call the owner they agreed to reduce the price a little bit. Horrible last evening experience. AVOID at all cost.More

Overcooked pasta at a fast food pace. Bland risotto. Just barely average. Even the house wine was soft and fruity...like light beer. Skip this one. Better to go slow...enjoy a glass of better wine while they cook the pasta for each order.

Avoid this place at all costs! Walked in after reading about it on a blog and straight away noticed it was a tourist trap. The waiter showed me to a table and when I asked for the toilet he asked me to make sure I...came back to sit on this particular table which made me think these guys work on commission or something. When I came back and browsed the menu I realised it was quite generic and basic so I decided to make a move. As I told them I was leaving the waiter confronted me and demanded I paid €2 for having used the bathroom which I thought was hysterical. Paid him off and felt very happy to leave!More

After looking at several choices for dinner on our recent trip to Venice we found this small gem to be the best value and great tasting food. With the Euro being 1.5 for every dollar in CDN we appreciated finding this restaurant with a great...deal. You start with your choice of spaghetti (with tomato or meat sauce), then your choice of breaded chicken cutlet or roasted chicken with fries or roast potatoes and a coffee for $15 EuroMore

Only partially cooked frozen chicken served. When we said we were not paying for it they said they will call the police! Don't go to this place. Only took the price of the chicken off the bill when we caused a fuss.
