This meal was just awful and the most expensive we have had it 2 breaks in Venice. I think the final straw was watching them microwave our potatoes and vegetables behind the bar before letting them go cold & bringing them over to us. We...More

This welcoming trattoria is a haven of calm on a busy thoroughfare, thanks to its idyllic canalside garden. Try the homemade pasta with duck or seafood, and look out for the house speciality pasta, with scampi, prosecco and rosemary.

We had a pasta with seafood and a gnocchi a bolognese. For drinking: a glass of wine and a sprite. Total cost: 38eur Although both dishes looked amazing (I mean they looked beautiful on the plate) they were pretty normal when talking about taste. Far...More

Live music at Alla Palazzina was great to enjoy our meal to. The location of the restaurant is good and the food is very reasonably priced and so so filling. The staff were friendly and gave us limoncello at the end of the meal at...More

I'm glad that I didn't read the reviews until after my visit last week as I would have been put off from having a meal there. I don't think it was any more expensive than other similar restaurants we ate at (with the current exchange...More

I would say our meal was better than "average" but not "very good". It was perfectly acceptable, the place was fine & the staff attentive & helpful. We enjoyed the meal, but in a city of so many restaurants I would not return. We were...More

Disappointing. Menu read so well but did not deliver and was our most expensive meal in Venice. My daughter wants to rate it a 2 but I disagree. My pasta was cold and supposedly had duck on it but it was an indescribable mince?? Far...More

A rather dissapointing meal. It seemed to be a bad choice in Venice ... Risoto did not tasted like risoto. I did not see any locals in the restaurant. I would not recommend to anybody. Also rather expensive for the offered low quality.

We had been wandering around the old Jewish Quarter in Venice and felt like lunch. We were enticed into this place by the outdoor eating area. It was in a shady garden adjacent to the canal. There were four of us and we all ordered...More

My wife and I went to this area of Venice to see the Peggy Guggenheim Gallery, (which was great), and stopped here to eat before taking the bus-boat back to the Casio. The resturaunt has a great location for view the canal and taking in...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
