I wish I had checked Trip Advisor before going here. Sadly my girlfriend and I had the misfortune of eating here for my birthday meal. In short I spent the first 20 minutes swatting flys to then realise that the wall was covered in about a hundred of them. Asked to be moved and the waiter rudely agreed. Carried on... More

horrible, horrible place. We saw two rats passing our table while we were eating the desert there. The staff did not think it was a big deal, and though we left the desert almost untouched, made us pay for the whole order. GROSS PLACE and clearly a health hazard!

Bad service, bad attitude, bad smell, they are not helpful, food less than average and they push food to charge your bill with the 12% service. Welcome to Venezia :))

Would not recommend. Sub standard food with huge cover charge. Funny smell, should have followed my instinct and left the minute I entered. Would not recommend you go, I feel we got ripped off. Ordered their set deal at €12 for two people, 1 sprite and 2 small house wine came to a suppressing €45, they obviously reached their total... More

PLEASE DONT GO IN THERE! How can I even rate this? It seems very nice and pleasant when you are planning on where to eat for an evening meal, but we were very wrong. We had ordered and were just sipping our first drink, a Bellini which was crap, when I thought I saw something run across the floor and... More

run by arabs who cannot cook italian cuisine. the fish was stale & after the first bite I wanted to return the dish which they would not allow. I wanted to leave but they would not let us. I wanted the italian food police to invertigate but they did not get there timely. I paid & left. This was the... More

Just open my account to be sure that I can't share my awful experience at this restaurant. We were in four and every single dish was terrible. Overcooked pasta, old fish, the lasagna seem to be old too and it was just cream. We ordered the menu and even if the first dish was bad I was expecting to have... More

Terrible service, tried to overcharge and the food was nothing special at all. Just a tourist trap. The worst part of an otherwise great holiday in Italy.

Our only dinner we had in Venice and nothing went right. We got the menus and they didn't give us the special menu for the set menu. We had to ask for that after waiting for quite a while and expected us to them order straight after she gave the other menu to us. It took forever for the one... More

Worst restaurant ever visited in my life. Very bad attitude Of staff and even overcharge us for plain water. Food extremely bad and not fresh at all, standard is worse than home cooked meal and meat uncooked. Beware of this tourist trap as they will try to lure you in this trap.

Thank Samuel W

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
