Paradiso Perduto is a fantastic, bustling, manic, noisy restaurant / bar / music venue. It does have its quiet periods, just not many. Try the freshly made Bigoli alla scogliera, a delight. The pasta machine is in the window, quite odd when you see the...More

Had dinner here with friends on our first night in Venice. Highly recommended but come with a reservation in hand (full tables all night), a hearty appetite (large servings) and cash (no credit cards). Entertaining evening in a lively atmosphere and good food.

as all reviews here state: this place is not for a honeymoon evening. cramped with folks, loud and busy, but the food is definitely among the better we had in Venice. definitely worth an evening and a dinner.

This is a very popular place to eat so make sure you book in advance of you wish to secure a table. Be warned, the portions are large, if you have a moderate appetite one course will be enough. Great service and a lovely setting...More

The food was delicious, service was very friendly and apologetic when dishes didn't come out in a timely fashion (wasn't a big deal). My only caution - bring CASH, Paradiso Perduto DOES NOT take plastic. CSSH ONLY.

We have visited Paradiso Perduto at least 3 times in as many years. It might be that we have come to idealize our first experience but this years visit was a definite low. The place was overcrowded, personnel bad humored and, most importantly, the mixed...More

The restaurant is quite an experience - lively atmosphere, but very tight, cramped and loud. Plus: They forgot about our booking and put us at the same table with another couple! Not really the intimate setting we were hoping for - making it uncomfortable for...More

Truly the best food in Venice. We took the advice of our waitress and had an amazing mixed antipasti plate to share for starters, followed by a fried fish platter. Really delicious. Great atmosphere- really buzzing place. Definitely need to pre-book. It's busy and it's...More

Our AirBnb recommended this place, and it was amazing. Menu is in Italian but the staff was so helpful and took extra time to translate the whole menu for us. Fresh seafood (we got the seafood appetizer for two) and the lasagna bolognese was amazing....More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

They have no website. Call +39 041 720581 . . . they will pass you on to a staffer who speaks english. If there are just two of you and you arrive before 6:30pm, they can probably seat you without a reservation. When we... More
