Only popped in for a spot of lunch...it's a traditional pizza restaurant...and full of locals...the staff are run ragged...darting around from till to table...but if you can wait it out...they'll get to you and you won't regret it...super tasty food...and although we didn't have the...tiramisu...it looked delicious. Well worth a visit.More

If your a non smoker this is not your place. Very few tables inside possibly seating 24 people. Garden outside with tables close together at least 80 + people. Limited menu unless you love pizza. Had the gnocchi with small shrimp and little zucchini did...not say anything on the menu about the chilli flakes throughout which I hate. House red wine ok. Prosecco quite harsh. Monk fish very small very little fish taking the large bone into consideration. Sea bass cooked as is so you need to fillet yourself. Pizzas looked good. Service was total chaos ,servers going to tables with food but not there’s happened several times when we were there. Spaghetti cozze e vongole was offered to table near us but not on the menu. Strange place and won’t be back.More

We booked a reservation for 9pm. It was packed out. Crazy busy! A good sign of how popular this place is! They got us seated and took our order for drinks and food. We didn’t wait very long considering. It’s the most wonderful setting outside....You feel as though you’re in someone’s large back garden, set with pretty coloured lighting. It’s really lovely. Carafes of house red wine were good. Beer was too. We had carbonara and pesto pastas, fresh Parmesan cheese. Fillet steaks with roasted potatoes. Bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. All of these were absolutely delicious! It can be difficult to catch their attention sometimes because the waiting staff are so busy. They work so hard. They deserve a medal! We visited here a few years ago, it I enjoyed it even more this time around. It’s reasonably priced, and something abit different. When we went to pay the bill, they gave us a couple of complimentary drinks. limoncello! This finished the night off very well. Thankyou!🍋🍋🍋More

The staff at first appear abrupt but I think that’s the language barrier, we had a great night and managed communication. The pesto spaghetti was excellent as were the pizzas all in a lovely courtyard. It’s a very busy restaurant for both visitors and locals....Service can be a little slow but we were there to enjoy a leisurely meal on a lovely evening.More

We visited this restaurant three times during our week in Venice. The first time we visited was just for convenience, because it was only a short walk from our hotel, but we loved it so much we kept going back! Everything was so fresh and...delicious. We especially enjoyed the liver, which the chef very kindly cooked without onions for me as they don’t agree with me. It was very busy each time we visited, but we never felt we were rushed to finish and leave and the staff were all very friendly and happy to talk to us about the menu. It was so lovely sitting in the pretty garden drinking the most delicious Prosecco! We will definitely be back!More

After a morning walking all over Venice, and the building summer heat, we stumbled across the lovely outside courtyard of this restaurant. Great salads & pizzas & ice cold drinks - what more could we want!

Pasta was médiocre, nothing special worth to mention. Service was so bad though. The waiters ignored me for more than 20 minutes even when they were 1 meter away. I wanted dessert and coffee and just left and paid after the meal. Never again, not...recommended.More

Not sure where everyone else ate but our experience was far from stellar. After two weeks in Italy and our 8th trip to Venice, this was by far the most disappointing experience. Box pasta that was billed as homemade. A 20 minute delay for all...the food to arrive at the table and a waiter that basically forgot about us. Overall, average to below average experience. You could probably get a better experience in one of the tourist trap restaurants in St Marks Square.More

Long waiting time for food, hectic atmosphere, wonderful garden, fritto du misto too dead and only dry, our portion compared to others 30% less quantity, 2nd course not delivered for 30min. So we went off.

Every time we come to Venice we come here, it’s not that many, but every time we come here. Our first trip here, it was local to our hotel, so in we went. We had no idea what to order but looked around to see...what others were eating. We ordered Frito Misto di Mare followed by Gnocchi with smoked salmon, cream and rocket. This menu has become a regular celebration meal at home. We always choose something that sounds seasonal and Venetian and it never, ever disappoints. We have eaten the freshest fish in the world here, perfect gnocchi, real risotto. We have seen the complaints about this place, that they serve the locals first and the carbonara and pizzas were average, and we have this advice. If you are lucky enough to be in Venice, EAT VENETIAN FOOD. You will get much more respect from the waiters, who will give you free drinks if they take to you. It will be fresher and better cooked than your generic “Italian” food, which is only only the menu for the unadventurous tourist. We hope this restaurant is there every time we go in the future because we’ll be there!More

Yes! We eat here all year. Outside is lovely when the weather is warm, but when it's really cold the inside space is cozy, and there's plenty of room.
