The place was jammed when we went in for lunch including a large table full of gondoliers. Great Sardines Saora and seafood pasta. The ove roasted potatoes looked excellent as well. We spoke to a couple who return there often, and it was recommended by...More

Unexpected among all touristic restaurants around. Great typical Venetian antipasto , and excellent main dishes.

Oh I loved this place! There was quite the queue outside (and actually throughout the whole evening) but we got a glass of prosecco on the house and some arrinci whilst we were waiting, so who's to complain! Once inside the food was delicious, the...More

Venice is full of tourist traps. This is certainly NOT one of them. They offer genuine and exquisite Italian food, at very reasonable prices and with a great smile. The aubergines with cheese were otherworldly and so was the pasta in ink-fish sauce. Al Vongole...More

Our B&B referred us to this restaurant. It's located in a corner next to a canal, and looks quite quaint. The service was great. We were excited for a delicious meal... perhaps we ordered the wrong items from the menu, but we were less than...More

"Alla Rivetta" is a popular spot for dinner, so its best to book no later than that morning. This is because the food is very good, end of story. Worth trying the Venetian dishes too, such as the "liver alla veneziana" ( as long as...More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend at the start of our Italian holiday expecting a delicious Italian meal and received quite the opposite. The pasta was by no means al dente, my partners meal was bland and my squid ink/cuttlefish pasta...More

We used to go to this restaurant on a regular basis. Then, they started "padding" our bill and the service became very unfriendly. We got tired of dealing with this nonsense, so we quit going. We decided to try it again - for old time's...More

This was one of the best places I ate in my 2 weeks in Italy. It was so good, my girlfriend and I decided to come back for seconds the following night. Even with bit of a line, the wait is worth it. Plus, they...More

Yes it does, but beware that when we were there a table that had a reservation could not get their table at the requested time as the restaurant was full. It's very busy.
