About a 10-15 minute walk from St. Marks. Recommended by our hotel. Pricey menu and small portions but for Venice it's above what you usually get in the tourist traps closer to the bay. It will cost around 60 Euro for two with a glass...More

We received a recommendation for the restaurant from a resident of Venice. And indeed the diners were Italians and tourists. The place is known for its fish dishes. We were four. Everyone ordered a fish or seafood dish. As well as special dishes of pasta...More

Our BnB owners recommended this place as close-up and good food and wine. Didn't realize it was a wine bar with great food until I looked it up to get an address. Five of us showed up at 7 pm when it opened without a...More

Notice how all the bad reviews are from people who didn't book a table (but thought they were somehow entitled to one anyway): reservations are a must unless you're lucky, so stop by the day before to book one. This place has more atmosphere than...More

I was here several times and like it always. It is the place where you can see venetian life. Menu is rather small, but all i had tried was simple but very tasty. Fish soup is my favourite.

This is a place run by passionate Veneziani where you can eat and drink local wines and local dishes as in the past. Every staff member really enjoys talking to you about the nuances of each meal you order with a sparkle in their eye....More

This is popular restaurant off the Campo Santa Maria Formosa and it is essential to book. A busy buzzing place, the service was slick and the food delicious, the owner is on hand so everything runs efficiently. There are two sittings, and we went to...More

Tried to eat in the restaurant after passing by during the day and seeing all the prizes and good reviews on the door. When we arrived at night the place was half empty and the staff was arrogant and rude. The maître was angry and...More

Ok, "vintage style" Wine restaurant for dinner. Service staff (also dressed sort of "vintage style"), are ok, but a bit distanced. They seem to have less interest in foreigners. Locals seem to go here for dinner as well as passing by for a glass of...More

Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri
(districts), and the only one not facing onto the
Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated
within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over
one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals
criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a

I am sorry, but I cannot help you with a reservation, I only reviewed the restaurant after a visit. I tried to send the link but tripadvisor do not accept that. Enjoy!
