If you want a taste of authentic Italy then this is the place for you. When you enter the restaurant, you are met by the glorious sight of hanging cured meats in every shape and size. The walls are adorned with daubed, incomplete paintings depicting amazing scenes of local life. Each table is laid with crisp white linen, various condiments... More

This place serves authentic regional food inside with lots of ambience. Be sure to reserve in the evening. The service is a bit slow, and vegetarian dishes are few and far in between.

Nice place full of people in Friday evening. Meals were very good and big enough for adult men too. Wine list was excellent. Service was friendly and atmosphere warm.

It is a really nice small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. You should make a reservation before you go for sure, as we did our reservation one week ago and when we have arrived there were a lot of people waiting in line to get a table. I had the polenta with the mushrooms and cheese and my friend had... More

This is a small elegant restaurant serving refined versions of local Veronese cuisine. The sarde in soar with polenta was a tasty appetizer. The bigoli pasta and the pasta fasoi (pasta and beans, a/k/a pasta fagioli in the rest if Italy) were wonderful. Wide-ranging wine list as well, friendly service..

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, when in Verona just before Christmas. It was closed the first night we tried so we went in the following afternoon to book a table. I'm vegetarian and wanted bigoli but it was with duck sauces so asked if they'd do with a tomato sauce & was told certainly. We returned in... More

So good, I hardly know where to begin. Amarone is actually a "house" wine. Generous pours, wonderful staff, perfect setting and food beyond amazing. We started with the risotto amarone. So delicious, but awfully big. Unless you're really hungry, I'd advise splitting it between two adults. I ordered the braised beef cheeks amarone for my main dish. it came over... More

I have been traveling to Verona on business for roughly 20 years and when I first visited everyone told me that you have to go to Bottega Del Vino for superior food. On one occasion I could not get in so somebody suggested a little place around the corner, La Taverna di Via Stella. Half the price with as good... More
