We went Antica Torretta a couple of years ago and were bowled over by the food - especially the pasta. This year the food was still good, but not quite as memorable. However we had a nice table, the service was good and it had...More

During this week on and around Lake Garde this lunch in Verone was the best in variety, quality and presentation. We knew Antica Toreretta from earlier trips, so we knew it’s worth the “extra mile” all the way to the Roman bridge. Still, visiting a...More

This restaurant was strongly recommended by our hotel receptionist and it did not disappoint. Food, wine, service and atmosphere all excellent. The prosciutto was arguably the best we had in Italy and the turbot wonderful. No, this place is certainly not cheap but then such...More

This restaurant was very nice with excellent food at reasonable prices, considering the quality and service. The decor was formal, the waiters professional but friendly and the food was fresh. My husband is allergic to gluten and they had no problem with that. My husband...More

Located on a quiet street. Very attentive and helpful staff. Very good and reasonably priced wine list. Had turbot. Phenomenal. Wife had king crab legs. Enjoyed it. Gluten free choices. Nice atmosphere. Low light, but not dark quiet.

...which restaurant has the rudest waiter of them all! This restaurant is one of extremes. The setting is lovely, beautifully laid out we had a table next to the kitchen where you can watch your food prepared through a large glass window, whilst surrounded by...More

A friend and I had a small, superb lunch here in the shady courtyard and liked the area and the food so much we came back a couple of days later. It was relaxed and away from the bustle of the city. Good location if...More

Worth every penny. In life you get what you pay for. The food may not be cheap, but who wants cheap food? Fabulous food, wine and service. What else could you want from a restaurant?
