Small place with a crowded decoration where to enjoy a recovering macchiato prepared with a touch of chocolate. Very nice waitresses.

I'd read that this served the best coffee in Verona and I wasn't disappointed. Having decided not to wait any longer for my coffeeat the nearby restaurant where we'd had lunch, I popped here for my espresso. It is a tiny, genuine Italian café, and the oldest in Verona. My espresso was just a €1 and I drank it at... More

Whilst in Verona for a week's holiday with family & friends, this place became part of our daily routine. Serves the best cappuccinos and macchiatos we've had, and moreover, at pretty normal prices, and in an unpretentious and very friendly setting with character. A must to visit whilst in Verona (or indeed another good excuse to visit Verona...).

A very beautiful and small place in the heart of Verona. A great option for tea or coffee while visiting the main touristic areas and shopping.

We happened upon the Café Borsari as we approached the Porto Borsari, the ancient Roman gate into the city. The café is close enough to the gate so as to be almost incorporated into its walls; indeed, it’s partially under the adjacent arch. We ordered only two cappuccinos (no, let’s get that right – it’s two cappuccini), but they came... More

We've been to this café for a coffee on previous visits to Verona and we've told everyone they make the best macchiatos in the world. So we went back to have another one on this trip. It was a little disappointing to find that the macchiatos have been Americanised with too much milk. It's such a shame - I expect... More

Great coffee, unbelievable price, limited seating so do it like the Italians! We visited every day for our 5 days in Verona and loved the coffee and the experience.

I wish I had tried some of the pastries - maybe next time! This tiny, cute little coffee shop was recommended and I can see why. I had a delicious cappuccino (the smoothest I'd had in my three weeks in Italy) and it only cost €1.50. There seemed to be more Italians than tourists in there so maybe it's still... More
