Slightly better than Cavour (not far away), but nothing great. All could be made far better. Better historical atmosphere. Merits 3.25-3.5 points.

We were charged for a bottle of wine which we did not order but had to pay for and found the atmosphere not very welcoming and that the food was overpriced.

PRO: Been here for a lunch break, the atmosphere is the best thing. The environment looks just the same as the old trattoria of Verona 35 years ago. The food is good quality, even the salad was seasonal. CONS: Not many choices in the menu. You are somewhat pushed to take their "carrello of arrosti e bolliti" (a mix of... More

It is the best food in the world. No doubt on that! The bolito is an awesome food experience. Pasta, wine, tiramisu just to go with.....

The remarks made by other visitors about the menu being fairly short are correct. There are 3 or 4 first courses, 3 or 4 second courses, 4 or 5 deserts. Wines are either bottled or by the glass or by the jug. 6 Euros for a half liter of "house wine" is anything but cheap. Their first course can either... More

They serve the typical bollito from Verona, that is dressed with the green sauce or the more typical "peara'", that is made with bone marrow and other ingredients. The selection of meats is good, and also the roasted meats looked good. Portions are quite big, even if the the meat is not cheap, 20 Euros and more, if you have... More

Found ourselves here after driving around looking for a place to eat mid week around Dossobuono. We were the only people in the Restaurant around 8 o’clock and we felt a bit awkward. The menu was only in Italian which made things tricky. With the help from the waiter who spoke very little English we managed to have a very... More
