Great wine list. Cheap so you should order plenty of antipasti. Total bill for two was 90 euros and we ate well. An enjoyable experience in a nice atmosphere.

Beppe Schino has made his cozy, friendly, hole-in-the-wall restaurant our gold-standard of world restaurants. The food is beautiful to behold, fantastic to taste, and fun to remember; he explores especially Puglian fare, his experiments have never failed us and we also chose them. He serves his customers personally with wit, intelligence and vast knowledge of food, AND of wine: we... More

From the moment Beppe (Giuseppe) , the owner, met us at the door, to the time he bid us farewell, we had an unforgettable dining experience. We asked Beppe to choose all the courses, along with wine pairings. We were not disappointed. Our expectations were exceeded. The food, the wine, and the hospitality were exceptional!

A precious highlight during our visit to Bari was a meal at PerBacco, a few steps from the Lungomare. The owner welcomed us as part of the family, then proceeded to award us one absolutely wonderful dishes, from starters through desserts. The rich flavors of Puglia are worked into every dish with such delicacy as to make them unforgettable. Eating... More

Despite the somewhat mixed reviews from other Tripadvisor contributors, we decided to do dinner in this unusual little restaurant.what is clear from the moment you enter is that its mission is to serve its local clientele and it is not specifically focused towards tourists. That said, we had a really good enjoyable meal and. Highlights were the courgette flan and... More

After reading all the positive reviews on tripadvisor we decided to have dinner here during our trip to Bari. You have to ring the bell to enter the restaurant. The interior, including the toilets, have not been updated for the last fourty years or so. Service was quick and in Italian only (so is the menu). While eating the bell... More

i was told to eat here by a friend of mine in Roma, and i am so glad that she recommended it. Everything about the experience was wonderful, from the wine to the food. Not to be missed is the tuna tartare with orange, as well as the eggplant stuffed with swordfish.

Thank Bob C
