This was a tip from the hotel we where staying. Clearly a place where a lot of locals come for a drink and a bite and must if you want to try the typical Sicilian arancino. One of the best we have had in all our visit of Sicily.

One of the oldest pasticceria's in Catania ( 1860's ). Excellent traditional Sicilian specialties from Cannoli to Baba Al Rum. Creamy gelato, highly perfumed sorbetto and exquisite Pasta Reale.

This is one of the places to go if you want to eat the famous sicilian arancine. You cannot do wrong. Try a couple of other bakery pieces or "pasticceria". The scenery and atmosphere is also very sicilian like - not to mention the people coming and going inside and outside of the restaurant and the waiters with their traditional... More

Amazingly popular and rightly so. People queuing out of the door for the takeaway arancini and pastries, which we were told by our B&B are the best in Catania, if not the whole of Sicily. We sat in their new cafe and were waited on by very smart young men who spoke excellent English and were so efficient. We ordered... More

This place some of the best treats I had in Sicily, I would say the Aranchini & Cannoli was the best one I had (especially the chocolate one). The Aranchini with the Pistachios stuffing left me with a taste in my buds that I can remember till this day. Their espresso was great too. What really made the icing on... More

They're yummy. An array of arancini with different flavours for every taste. We popped in to look at pastries and wound up eating lunch because they looked so good. Friendly staff, good prices, nice food!

Thank Michael A
